The band "Timor Et Tremor" startet back in 2005 with 2 guys who split with a Death Metal-Band near Kassel.
The region of "Nord-Hessen" (in the middle of germany) offered enough space for a pagan-inspired Black Metal Band,
so the lyrical and musical directions were set.

Apart the rising wave of "Folk Metal" the band followed its own path.

After some line-up changes 2 more guys joined and the recordings for "The Winding Path" Demo startet in early 2007.

A lot of encouraging resonance from listeners and magazines was received. During the next period of time new songs were created
under the banner of "Chattic Black Metal".

The spring of 2009 marked the beginning of the "My Oaken Chest" recordings. Like the recording of the demo, every peace
of work was done by the band itself and the result was published online.

At this time the band still consisted of 3 members. For a satisfying live-presence there was a need for more dedicated musicians.

After the search and a hard rehearsal-period the band performed its very successful first gig. The new influence changed the
view at the still present "Chattic Black Metal" and new songs were written.

Three songs were recorded in the beginning of 2011 to show the bands identity as a summary of the bands past and a view
upon things to come. The EP consists of re-recorded material and an unreleases new song.
